Spaghetti

This recipe isn't anything unusual its very easy and its my son Dakota's favorite.....he LOVES spaghetti and has even asked me to teach him how to make it. The recipe originated from my mother in laws recipe, with some things deleted some things added, she adds one bottle of chili sauce which will give it a sweet flavor and when she browns the hamburger she adds pieces of salted pork, I would do the pork if I would remember to but i ALWAYS forget....Habit........again I've added my Debbie touch. I also want to note I have a big family and I feed more than just my family, so sometimes i have more ingredients than what a normal family of 4 has...adjust anyway you like......recipes are very forgiving....

2lbs Hamburger
2 cups mushroom
5 stalks celery
1 onion
1 green bell pepper
1 Tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 Tablespoon chili powder
1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic
2 28 oz can Tomato Sauce
1 28 0z can Diced Tomato
1 small can of Tomato paste
1 Tablespoon Sugar

Brown hamburger and drain, cut up onion, celery, bell pepper roughly, place in a food processor with whole cloves of garlic, pulse until desired consistency....

add all the spices, sugar, salt and pepper, veggie mixture and mushrooms in with the hamburger and stir, simmer for 15 minutes, this is to allow the veggies to soften and infuse the flavors to the hamburger, add all cans of tomato's completely blend and simmer for an hour, taste and adjust salt....I used angel hair whole grain noodles and simmered according to directions on the back of the box

grate fresh parmasian cheese, and add fresh chopped parsley over top and serve with your favorite garlic bread

side note on my garlic cheese toast..I was out of garlic bread so i buttered some bread added a whole clove of garlic minced over the top of butter and added cheddar (you can use mozzarella too)  over top, put under the broiler till cheese melts and served on the side......this was quiet yummy.....
